Tomorrow is my day off. I have a bunch to do, so I'm going to reinstate my "Day Off List". It's been horribly cold here the past few days. As I type this, it is only 18°F here. At least it is sunny outside. I hate when it is gloomy and cold. I get depressed easily in the winter because of the lack of sunshine. I can handle the cold, but the lack of sun takes a toll on me. It is finally starting to feel like Christmas time to me. It hadn't felt that way yet and I think it was because we were still having 50° days until last week. Now we have snow and frigid weather. I have three more people to buy for and then I'm done with my Christmas shopping. I still have some things to make, but I'm not worried about it too much. I've been babysitting a lot lately. I'm used to getting up at 6am now. I used to think getting up at 9 was early. I was exhausted at 11 last night. I had to stay up to finish laundry though, it was excruciating. lol I have never been much of a "kid person". I still haven't become one, but I love Zadie. I'm glad I get to be a part of her life. She's sleeping in my lap right now. One of my friends posted a link to a recording of him playing piano, and I downloaded the file. She fell asleep to it yesterday, and she was fussy again today, so I put the song on repeat and started rocking her and she fell right asleep again today. So to pornedloser , Thank you. You have made my life a little easier. You will have to send me more of you playing the piano, it works like a charm. And I enjoy it too.

And now, my list for tomorrow:
1 shopping at hobby lobby and target with a co-worker (and lunch too!!)
2 finishing a Christmas present
3 sending that present out in the mail
4 start/finish two other presents
5 last load of laundry!!!
6 clean my room
7 sweep and dust the common areas of the house
8 wrap presents
9 Christmas concert at my church
10 who knows what else.

Well Zadie is starting to wake up now. Have good days everyone!

I'm making Christmas cookies and listening to Christmas music, my holiday season has officially begun. When the cookies are done I'm going to throw in a load of laundry and then start decorating my room. I took a nap today, but I'm still tired. It has been snowy here all day. And windy, very windy. It's 13° F here.

I baby sit tomorrow and then work from 2-10. bleh.

Oh Hi Livejournal. I've been babysitting all week and working at the deli for the past few days.


It's been a busy week. I miss sleeping in. I'm babysitting again tomorrow from 7-1 and then work 2-10.

So I guess I should go to bed.

Some of you may remember this entry. Well I rode that same section of the trail again today. I did find out what was on the other side of the big stone wall. I didn't go quite as far as I did last time because the sun was getting too low in the sky and I wanted to be home before it got dark. I took lots of pictures.

The person I was going to buy a cord for my laptop from decided not to call me back. I had to order one through a different company and it should be here on Monday/Tuesday. I miss reading everyones updates. I will catch up on posting and commenting asap.

Yesterday was a perfect day. I woke up around 8, a half hour before my alarm went off, feeling very comfy in my bed. I just laid there enjoying the warmth of my blankets till my alarm went off and then I got up. At about 9 I left for Ikea with two of my friends. It was a nice drive up there. I don't normally get to ride in a car, I walk or ride my bike everywhere. So I just sat back and enjoyed the passing view and talked with my friends about love and life and God. When we got to Ikea we started shopping right away. I had planned out my purchases before hand so I knew what I was getting and I did a pretty good job sticking with my shopping list. We ate lunch there. I had meatballs, mashed potatoes, lingonberries, carrots, and a piece of cake that looked like a tennis ball. It didn't taste like a tennis ball though, which is a very good thing. After we ate we finished up our shopping and then headed home. We got a little lost on the way home because we didn't think to print out return directions. We didn't go too far out of our way, but we did get home later than we had planned. I fell asleep in the car once we got a little closer to home. I woke up just before the exit for my town. When I got home I put my purchases away and then laid down for a nap. I slept for at least an hour. It was a much needed nap. I've been busy all week and was started to run on empty. Julee (my room mate) had made soup and shared that with me for dinner. It was good and I was thankful that I didn't have to cook. After dinner I got on my computer for a bit. I was a bit bored so I decided to go for a walk. I walked around downtown for about an hour and then came home. It was just a much needed restful, fun filled day.

I had church today. I work from 2-10 tonight. Babysit in the morning again tomorrow.

I'm content with life.

I was very productive today. I got up at 630, babysat from 7-9am, did two loads of laundry, swept the house, cleaned my room, made lemon squares, made pasta salad, and worked from 2-10pm. I have to babysit again at 7 tomorrow morning. I'll pick up my check when I'm done babysitting at 9am, and then go to work from two till ten. Saturday promises to be great. I have the day off and I'm going to IKEA with some friends. I love IKEA so much. It's where I got my bed, mattress, sheets and blankets, pillows, and almost every cool thing in my room. I plan on getting some stuff to organize my art supplies. I have sketches and paintbrushes everywhere right now. Speaking of right now, I should go to bed, like right now.

I donated blood today. I got stuck in both arms because they couldn't get the vein in my left arm. I wonder how big my bruises will be this time. At least I filled the bag this time. Last time I was almost done and then I clotted and they couldn't use my blood. I've had a pretty good day so far. Busy, but good. I babysat from 7-9, then went to the blood drive, and then I stopped at work to get my bike because I left it overnight and I didn't want to leave it overnight again tonight. I started getting rides home from work because there have been a few muggings in my town and I wasn't feeling the safest. I work from 2-10 tonight. I hope it goes by fast.

I was completely lazy today. And for that I now have zero clean pants. I won't be able to do laundry till Thursday now. I babysit and have an appointment to donate blood tomorrow, and I also work at two. So clean laundry is temporarily out of the question. I baby sat for two hours this morning and then had a pampering session later on. Then I took a nap. I was up for a bit, ate dinner with a friend, came home, then I took another nap. It was rainy and cold and just generally crappy out today. I spent as much time as I could inside. I should go to bed now. I need to be up in 5 hours. Good thing I had all those naps today! :P

I'm tired this morning. I've been pretty busy this week. I started babysitting. It's pretty boring right now because Zadie is so little. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday. Should be interesting. There is a lot of family drama over the whole thing. Today is my busy busy day. I babysit till 1, then I have to run to work real fast, get my check and pay rent, then I work at two. So I'll be running around like a chicken with my head cut off till 10 tonight. I plan on sleeping in tomorrow morning. I don't think I've slept late in over a week. It sounds really whiny when I type it out, but when you are used to sleeping in at least two times a week, not sleeping in feels horrible.

I had a really good day today. It was so beautiful out today. I walked to church this morning and enjoyed the cool air, leaves, and sunshine. Church was good today. We were celebrating the church's birthday. We had a potluck after church and I was able to sit and talk with friends. After church and the potluck, I went home, took a short nap and got ready to go to my friend Joy's baby shower. After the shower I decided to ride my bike on the canal. It was good times. I think today was the perfect day for a bike ride. It was nice to get out on the trail and clear my mind a bit. I rode for about an hour total. I found some Osage oranges on the trail.  In case you have never seen an Osage orange, they look like( this ) 

I went home after my bike ride and took another short nap.  When I woke up Joy was over and we watched a movie with Julee.  It was a really good day.

It's beautiful out today. I went out to get some compressed air to dust my computer and clean out it's vents. It had been over heating and I'm pretty sure it was because of the dust stuck in the vents. So Now my computer is dust free and seems to be working better already. I also dusted mo room in hopes that removing the dust from the surfaces of my room will help keep it from getting more dust clogged up in there. I hope it's nice tomorrow. I have the day off tomorrow and I don't want it to be crappy out. I wouldn't mind it being a bit cooler, but I want the sunshine. I start babysitting on Tuesday. I'm excited about it. I should finish my house work and get ready for work now.

This is the quiche I made for my lunch today. It turned out really good.

Another productive day. I feel good. I made a cheese, potato, and onion quiche today. I'll have some for lunch and then take some to work with me for my dinner. I did a little studying in the math field today. Not much, but it's a start. I really just need to schedule my placement testing so that I have a deadline in which to study. It's beautiful outside today. I think I'll take the dog for a walk now.
